You don't need to become a production engineer. Your team needs to run one line — yours.

"We've never run a line like this before" is the sentence behind almost every enquiry we get. Training is how it stops being true — for your operators, your maintenance team, and you.

What's covered

Training that survives contact with a Monday morning.

  • Operator training during commissioning. Your people run the line while our engineers are still standing next to it — start-up, changeover, fault clearing, shutdown, on your product.
  • Maintenance-team training. What to check daily, weekly, and quarterly; what wear looks like before it becomes a breakdown; when to call us and what to say so the right part travels.
  • Written procedures your team actually uses. Run and maintenance procedures in plain English — Portuguese for Mozambique — with photographs of your line, not a translated generic manual.
  • Refresher visits and new-hire training. People move on. The knowledge shouldn't leave with them.

Why this is risk reduction, not a course fee

An untrained operator destroys more value in month one than training costs — jammed machines, scrapped product, wear parts run to failure, and a line that "never worked properly" when the line was never the problem.

Training is the cheapest insurance in the whole project — and it's built into every line we commission, not sold back to you as an extra.

Training is included in every CISH line handover, and available standalone for lines we didn't supply — often paired with a recovery project.

Training FAQ

Asked by every owner planning a team.

Yes — during commissioning, on your line, with your product. Built into every handover, never sold back as an extra.

Yes, standalone — often paired with a recovery project. We document the line first, then train against written procedures for that machine.

Plain English — Portuguese for Mozambique — with photos of your actual line, not a translated generic manual.

For a new line type they rarely exist locally — and knowledge that arrives in one hire leaves with the same hire. Training your own people keeps the capability in your business.

The written procedures stay, and refresher and new-hire visits are part of the offer — the knowledge lives in your business, not one person's head.
