"If this breaks in year three, what actually happens?"

That is the real question behind every production-line purchase. The answer is a network with two halves — and the honest truth is that most vendors only have one of them.

Half one — China

The procurement and shipping channel.

CISH buys industrial equipment and spares out of China continuously and at volume — it is the core of our business, not a service we switch on when you call. That standing trade gives us what a one-off buyer can never have:

  • Supplier relationships — factories take a repeat customer's order the same day
  • Consolidated movements — your equipment or part joins shipments already scheduled
  • Freight economics — a fraction of single-consignment rates
  • Routine clearance — paperwork we file constantly, not a first-time puzzle

Status, honestly: this half is real and operating today. It is what makes the one-week parts promise possible.

Half two — Africa

Engineers and appointed agents.

Installation, commissioning, training and support are delivered by CISH engineers based in Africa, working with appointed local agents. Spare parts are held in Johannesburg and placed with agents in-country where volume justifies it.

Status, honestly: our engineering base is Johannesburg, and work in the six markets is mobilised from there. The agent network is being appointed market by market — where a country has an agent, we'll name them when they've agreed to be named; where it doesn't yet, the work is mobilised from Johannesburg and we say so. This page will grow as the network does — we'd rather understate today than overstate ever.

What doesn't change by country: your team is trained on every line we commission, and every line is documented so support doesn't depend on memory.

Why both halves matter

Anyone can have one half. The offer is having both.

A Chinese supplier has the first half and none of the second. A local service company has the second and none of the first. Holding both is the structural argument for CISH — and the reason the year-three answer is different here.
