The honest arithmetic: a roll former turns coil into sheets at metres per minute, so the machine amortises quickly — but only if the coil is there to run. Steel coil is bought in tonnes, in dollars, on payment terms shorter than your customers', which makes coil working capital the real entry ticket to the roofing business. Budget it alongside the machine, not after it.

- Zambia, Zimbabwe & Malawi corridor: roofing is a delivery-radius business — sheets are air freight by volume, so a local roll former beats imported sheets on transport alone.
